After the great success at IFTM Paris (read the summary here), the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT), a non-profit organization with members having many years of experience in tourism in the European market, wishes to invite businesses to join VNCT in the Vietnam common booth at the Fitur Madrid and BIT Milan fairs. With the spirit of solidarity is strength, participating in the common booth will be an extremely good opportunity to promote Vietnam’s destination, amplifying the effects of each event in a long-term and sustainable way.
1. About FITUR
FITUR is Spain’s largest traditional tourism fair B2B2C (2024: 152 destinations, 806 official exhibitors, 3 B2B days (more than 150,000 business visitors) and 2 B2C days (nearly 100,000 visitors). According to statistics from the National Tourism Administration, 56,000 visitors from Spain visited Vietnam in the first 8 months of 2024, an increase of 134% over the same period last year. Vietnam tourism is a trendy Asian destination in Spain, a market with a lot of potential for development.
2. About BIT
BIT is the largest traditional tourism fair in Italy. According to statistics from the National Tourism Administration, 65,000 visitors from Italy visited Vietnam in the first 9 months of 2024, an increase of 155% over the same period last year. Vietnam tourism is a trendy Asian destination in Italy, with the opening of new routes, the Italian market will have a lot of potential for development.
3. Vietnam stand at FITUR and BIT
- Organisation at stand
– Select the appropriate option to sign the booth rental contract
– Balance the budget and manage the registration of participating units
– Manage the logistics issues of the booth
– Register names and create accounts for participating businesses
– Coordinate the general activities of the booth
– Coordinate the selection of construction companies and construction plans.
– Monitor the construction and set-up before the exhibition and finalize the payment after the exhibition
– Make a check-list and follow the general check-list of the booth
– Support visa invitations for businesses and units from Vietnam to participate in the event
- Activities and communication
– Plan the general activities of the whole booth
– Organize happy-hour or coffee-break at the booth to welcome guests of businesses
– Draft press files and send documents to Vietnamese and Spanish press and media
– Gather the media files as a platform to share on the HH pages of the organizer and participating members
– Organize tombola if organizing an event (manage rewards of members, make tombola)

The booth layout will be similar to the layout at IFTM Top Resa 2024.

In addition, the Association can undertake other requests (with fees) such as:
– Arrange accommodation and transportation for participating personnel
– Make private appointments with partners upon request
– Advise on the form of organization and implementation of press conferences or private events
– Advise, negotiate, implement media advertising upon request
– Advise on the content of documents and texts suitable for the market, translate, approve prints, etc.
